This season was alot of fun and one for the memories. We played with alot of heart and showed great teamwork all summer. From the 9-0 start, to showing One Hit Wonders no mercy. To the death race that becomes more mythical with each passing season. And who can forget the epic 10 run comeback that turned our season around. What a great group of guys to share the diamond with!

Thanks to everybody who came out this year and contributed to the team. We lost a few close ones and kind of flamed out at the end of the season, but through it all I think everybody can say they still had alot of fun. I hope everyone will come back out next year and give it another go. Bring your young/speedy/athletic baseball player friend with you. No more fat slow guys like myself. Well we split with Big Lick again. We are the only team to have beaten them this year, and we did it twice. We kind of gave that second game away. But that's behind us now, and Gorilla is on deck. Shock Electric is no slouch, and played D1 last year. We follow them up with Big Lick who have won 15 in a row. Followed up with No Names who won our league last year by beating Moe's. This will be our toughest stretch all season for sure.

In a brilliant display of athletic prowess (or lack thereof by the opponent), Team Awesome smashes 26 runs in two innings of work to notch their first victory of the season.

-Pitcher Eddie Burgess claims his only run allowed as unearned and declares a shutout victory for himself!
-Viar goes for the cycle!
-There is talk within the clubhouse that Shane Turner stole the spotlight from fellow second baseman Greg Jamerson.
-Third baseman Bray denies the use of PED's during the offseason.
