Eric Grieser's Grand Slam Spurs Boom Goes the Dynamite to 14-6 Victory
4/23/2009

Boom Goes the Dynamite erupted for 12 runs in the final two innings to claim a 14-6 victory over the NoDa All-Stars in Interlink Softball action on Thursday night at Hornet's Nest Park. The win snapped a two-game slide for Boom and evened its record at 2-2 in league play.

Boom Goes the Dynamite Remains Unbeaten With 5-2 Win Over Slow Children at Play
3/19/2009

In a game that was marked by sloppy playing conditions and great defensive efforts, Boom Goes the Dynamite used timely hitting to rally and post a rain-shortened 5-2 victory over Slow Children at Play in Interlink League action on Thursday night.

Boom fell behind in the top of the first inning, as the Children's first batter sent the first pitch he saw over the left field fence for a 1-0 advantage. The Dynamite would not be denied, rallying for a pair of runs in the bottom of the inning, as Tim Peters' single plated both Megan Grieser and Nathan Buechlein, who had reached on a single and a throwing error respectively.

After the Children tied things at 2-2 in the top of the third inning, Boom once again found some timely hitting, as another Peters single scored Buechlein with the eventual winning run, and a two-out single by Andy Kerrigan, who was making his season debut, scored Jackson Sveen to put the margin at 4-2.
