Had good lead let it go in game one.... game two were down good amount due to errors and brain farts and tried to come back but to little to late.... on to next week.

Hit the ball well most the time, Fielded the ball well most of the time, never quit in a game and came back a couple times. 2-2 good enough for 4th place. So all in all a really good start.

and there is a bottle neck at the top of the standings. Looks like three maybe four teams are in the mix and we are one of them. If we run the table we should be on top by ourselves but that is much easier said then done, we have some very tough games against some very good teams.

Weather was hot and so were our sticks! We got a little revenge on Jet Black beating them 20-17 after pretty much chasing all night. We hit the ball hard and played solid defense to hold on in the end. No let down in game two came out swinging and managed to keep rolling winning 20-9. Was really fun despite the muggyness and the bugs. Sitting at 9-3 which is good enough for 2nd maybe first depending on what others did tonight. A very good first half 12 more games to go.

We came out hitting and gloving in game one putting up 25 and only giving up 8. Game two we started of great two quick outs then they went on to score ten until we got the third out. After that we were really out of it, didn't hit and didn't field all that great with leads to the 25-7 drubbing....

First game was rough we didn't play as well as we should have had a couple of errors and a couple bad at bats which leads us to lose by one with a walk off 2 out single that Denny was just half a ball away from catching and forcing the tie. Oh well next time. 14-15

Didn't hang our heads and came out an pounded the ball for an easy win in game two. 23-8

came out real flat against Jet Black just couldn't string the hits together and not one extra base hit. Bounced back in game two hitting the ball all over the park and more then tripling our run total from game one. We have Jet Black 3 more times so I'm sure we will play better.

4-0 We came out hitting very well in both games and set the tone for the rest. Batted around in both games. not an easy feat with my sorry stick in the line-up the first game. Let's keep it rolling and keep have our selves a good time. nice to see some new names up top the stat leaders....

Off to a 2-0 start. Played well in game one making the plays we needed to when needed and getting the right amount of hits to win 13-12. Game two after a little rough first half of an inning we did what we do played good D and hit the ball where they weren't for the 25-14 win.

With four games left we locked up first place last night winning two more to push the record to 19-1. We also notched win 100 in Hits Happen history. We haven't played our best ball the last couple weeks but we are doing enough to win and boy it sure has been season. bring on fall Ball!

We have yet to lose in league play and have finished 2nd in one tournament so couldn't really ask for a better start.
We will now have the bullseye on our back in league play so we will need to just play Hits Happen ball. Have fun, stay loose, play solid D and hit the ball!

We start off the 2010 season with a couple of new faces, Andy who played in very limited games last year with leg issues, Denny played in a few games, and Wally with us up in Duluth but now they are all signed up to play full time.

Outlook for 2010 is high!

Now we just need to play the games.

We face two teams we he played against and know pretty well and both are ahead of us in the standings. Would be nice to take it to Straightline to end our last matchup of the season with them going down a bit.
