MGM went 5-1 this weekend. Thanks to all who came out, it was nice to actually have our whole team out for once. We battled all day but we won. Thanks to Handsome Hanson for pitching and we will see you next year.

MGM went 1-3 this weekend at PCB. We are just not putting up the runs to win softball games. It seems that we are in a slump right now as a whole team. We do not stay in the right frame of mind during the game. We had one game this weekend where we came together as a team, we stayed in the game mentally and we smahed them. It was a fun game too... We need to rethink why we are there. We are not there because we just like to be there, we want to win, we want to accomplish something, we want to be respected and we are not. We must remember that we can not change the game once we are playing. We just have to adapt and overcome. We dont need to lose our focus. We get so wrapped up in bitching and moaning about stupid stuff that we forget that we are supposed to hit, catch and throw. If they are hitting illegal bats, then either stop the game and protest it or just move on and do the best you can. If they are talking smack to us, then walk over there and punch them in the mouth or just move on. We need to start beating teams with our bats and gloves instead of our mouths. Its embarrasing and its getting old. MGM will be off memorial day weekend because Roger has to work the Jubilee to get some money so we might be able to play another tournament since all this has been coming out of his personal pocket. Anybody that wants to help him this weekend should, if you cant, maybe you should think about dropping 100 or 150 in a team fund to help pay for some of this stuff like uniforms, tournament fees, balls, and whatever else we need. We need to come together as a team completely right now at this moment and starting whipping some asses. Our next tournment may be the last weekend in May. There is another district Montgomery that i know of, but we will keep our options open. Tournament stats are posted below

MGM played well again today. We lost our two games to the respected Dirt Bags who gave us a lesson in hitting it where you want to and D's Sporting Goods who gave us a lesson in well we wont say, but if you want to hit it like they did, it will take more than 12 inch biceps and being 5 ft 3 in. Technology is a beautiful thing. We thank our pickups for stepping up and helping out today. We enjoyed it and hope to see you guys in the future. This weekend is our weekend off, most need it, and our next tournament is scheduled for the 10th. Not sure exactly where yet.

MGM went 4-2 this weekend only losing to 334 boys both times. We finally beat DJX for the first time in our franchise history 17-4. Thanks To Ken and Derrick for playing with us this weekend. Our next tournament is this weekend in Montgomery @ Fain Park. Tournament Stats are below
