Well we struggled both offensively and defensively against Hell's Kitchen. The 1st inning started off well, holding them scoreless. Then in both the 2nd and 3rd innings they were able to put up 6 runs in each inning, while we were still being held scorelss. The 4th inning we held them to 1 more run and then we held them scoreless in the 5th. We finally got a pair of runs in the 5th inning but that was all we could manage. Another tough game next week against the Drop Kick Murphy's.

So our 1st game is under our belts. The game only lasted 4 innings because we hit the 1 hour time limit. We started well; we held them to 1 run while we got 4 runs in the 1st inning. The 2nd inning didn’t go well for us. They put up 7 runs while we were held scoreless. So after 2 innings we were down 4 – 8. To start the 3rd they put up another 3 runs, making the score 4 – 11. In the bottom of the 3rd our team woke up and we were able to get 7 runners to cross the plate, evening the score up, 11 - 11. Going into the 4th inning, umpire Steve let us know that it would be the last inning. The Inner Circle team stepped up and held them scoreless in the top of the inning. In the bottom of the 4th inning 3 of the 1st batters made it to base thus loading up the bases for Pat to step up and drive in the game winning run with a single. It was a great start to the season coming from 7 runs down to win.
